  Antistatic properties
Floor coverings then have antistatic properties when no irritating electrostatic charges arise when walking on them. This is the case if the maximum charge during the test according to EN 1815 is 2.0 kV.

  Chair castor
During the chair castor test according to EN 425 no modifications regarding the appearance of the floor coverings are allowed to occur. Soft chair castors (type W) have to be used for resilient floor coverings.

  Chemical resistance
The usage properties of floor coverings must not be affected when leaving certain chemicals on them for two hours.

  Conductive
Permanently conductive flooring that allows electrostatic charges to rapidly flow to earth.

  Heavy Rolling Loads
Heavy objects that roll and/or move across the floor surface, such as wheeled carts, furniture with casters and equipment dollies.

  Impact sound insulation
Additional protection against the sound transmission from one room to the room underneath.

  Low maintenance
Floors that minimize the time and cost of cleaning routines.

  Resistance to cigarette burn
When stubbing out and burning down a cigarette on the floor covering, only slight modifications of the glaze and slight brown discoloration may occur.

Resistance to mineral oil and grease
The usage properties of floor coverings must not be affected when leaving certain chemicals on them for two hours.

  Resistance to Gouging
The ability for the floor's surface or wear layer to resist damage from objects that can forcibly cut, groove, or displace material.

  Recovery From Indentations
The ability for the flooring to regain its original shape after being indented by rolling or stationary loads.

  Slip Retardant (Safety) Flooring
Floors that provide an extra measure of safety for areas where slips and falls are a concern, such as aged care, healthcare or areas frequently exposed to surface moisture.

  Suitability for underfloor heating
All floor coverings are suitable whose thermal resistively does not exceed 0.15 qm K/W. This applies to hot water heating systems and electric heating which are embedded in the screed.
